TToday, families face three choices: cook every meal themselves, order restaurant delivery, or subscribe to a heat-and-eat meal service. Each comes with tradeoffs—time, cost, or convenience. Cooking takes effort and planning. Delivery is expensive and often impersonal. Heat-and-eat meals are shipped from far away and made for the masses, not your home.

A chef in your neighborhood can do better, for less. The math works at scale because there is no national logistics layer to absorb the cost.

OOne chef starts by cooking for four families, each with an average of four people. That’s sixteen people. The chef cooks breakfast, lunch, and dinner for them, twice a week—so 3 meals x 16 people x 2 days, which equals 96 meals a week per chef. To reach a million meals a day, we only need around 1,500 chefs doing this in every city. Million-a-day scale, one kitchen at a time.
